In honour of Steve Harwell
Steve Harwell, lead singer of Smash Mouth, has died at 56.
In remembrance of his contributions to my teen years in the 1990s and the subsequent memeification of Smash Mouth, here is a library-themed parody of 'All Star' that I wrote in a previous job.
Somebody once told me the suggestion box is gonna troll me
I ain't the most strict librarian at UA
She was looking kind of smug with her finger on the submit button
Ready to make a cheeky suggestion
Well the assignments start coming and they don't stop coming
Fed to the professors and you need to hit the ground running
Didn't make sense not to live for school
Your brain gets smart but your social life gets nerdy
So much to learn, so much to study
So what's wrong with some motivational music?

You'll never shine if you don't keep quiet in the library
